    We Believe...
In the Scriptures: The Bible is the inspired Word of God, the product of holy men of old who spoke and wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. The New Covenant, as recorded in the New Testament, is what we accept as our infallible guide in matters pertaining to conduct and doctrine (I Thessalonians 2:13, II Timothy 3:16, II Peter 1:21).

In the Godhead: We believe there is but one true and living God, who is everlasting infinite in power, wisdom and goodness, and that He is the Creator of all things, visible and invisible, and a preserver of all things (Romans 1:20, Colossians 1:16), but is manifested in three persons - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit being co-equal (I John 5:7). God the Father is greater than all, the Source of the Word (Logos) and the Begetter (John 1:14; 14:28; 16:28). The Holy Spirit proceeds forth from both the Father and the Son and is eternal (John 15:26).

We believe the Son is the eternal begotten of the Father, and accepted earthly limitations for the purpose of incarnation, being true God and true man, conceived by the Holy Ghost and born of the Virgin Mary.

We believe He died upon the Cross, He arose from the dead, and is now at the right of the Majesty on High as our great High Priest, and He will return again to establish His kingdom of righteousness and justice.

Eternal Life and New Birth: Man's first step toward salvation is godly sorrow that worketh repentance. The new birth is necessary to all men, and when fulfilled, it produces eternal life (John 3:3-5, II Corinthians 7:10, I John 5:12).

We believe that the Holy Spirit is the Comforter sent to us by the Lord to indwell, to guide, and to teach the believer, through the Spirit, each of us is given special gifts and talents to impact His kingdom. Most of us have one or two areas of giftedness we excel in.

Final Judgement: The one who physically dies in his sins without Christ is hopelessly and eternally lost in the Lake of Fire, and therefore, has no further opportunity of hearing the Gospel or repenting. The Lake of Fire is literal. The terms "eternal" and "everlasting" used in describing the duration of the punishment of the damned in the Lake of Fire carry the same thought and meaning of endless existence as used in denoting the duration of joy and ecstasy of saints in the presence of God (Hebrews 9:27, Revelation 19:20).

    Who We Are In Christ...
We are an interdenominational faith accepting all people who believe that Jesus Christ is the risen son of God and offers eternal life through Him. We have the Lord's Supper monthly and believe in full-emersion baptism. Once you are born-again into the kingdom of God, your talents and gifts that you had through your natural life are used to glorify God.

We believe operating in these distinct gifts, for the Lord, is where peace, joy and lasting fulfillment are found.

We celebrate The Holy Sacrament of Communion on the first Sunday of each month and special holidays.

We operate our church on a system of Pastoral and Elder leadership. We do not vote or have business meetings.

Prayer of Faith is committed in helping you find your place in God's kingdom, to allow you the freedom to worship, serve and minister effectively in the power of the Holy Spirit through Christ. Come join a family that cares.
